MY DREADLOCKS
I have had my dreads since December 26th 2006.
Matt helped me start them and he did an amazing job.
I have dreads because they allow me to easily maintain longer hair.
plus I LOVE the look and feel of them.
MY TATTOOS
<3Mom and <3Dad - These were my first tattoos, Dad on my left wrist and Mom on my right. I got these on my 19th birthday. The text for my dads is from the card that he gave me on my 8th birthday. The meaning for it is from my 9th. I pulled the heart from a separate part of the 8th birthday card, not the signature like on the 9th. When I asked my mom to write hers I asked her to sign my birthday card <3 mom in black sharpie. She asked why and I told her it was for my pair of tattoos... she responded by saying "wow, that's not any pressure" They are perfect. Tattoos by Paully of Tatz by Zapp in Stillwater, MN. The Rose - This tattoo is located on my left side, it represents the woman I have become/ am in the process of becoming. It will eventually be mirrored by a pink rose on my right side, in the form of a rosebud. The rosebud to me represents the child I was and how I will never forget that part of my life and how I would like to always be able to tap into my childlike self. This was also created by Paully of Tatz by Zapp in Stillwater, MN. See More Pictures...

Expedius Meus Animus (Unfold My Mind) - These words are placed on my feet where I can see them easily. They are a mantra that was formed in search of clarifying my thoughts and finding myself. They go well with this year of self discovery for me. The words were written by my best friend Heath. The ribbon design was drawn by the artist. I love these.
