The Mothers and The Whores
01
Last night Matt and I went and saw The Angry Mothers, as well as The RockNRoll Whores. It was a backyard outdoor show. Definitely glad I brought Matt with me, because I didn't know anyone else there. If I would have went alone, I most likely wouldn't have stayed. I took some pictures while I was there... Nothing fantastic, but here is one of Johnny Hardcore that turned out really awesome... perfect for editing too!

I will post more pictures at a later time when I do not need to leave for work :)

Where Do We Stand?
01
Love Situation- Two of Swords
A Conflict between two equally matched forces in which neither has a clear advantage. Can lead to a long period of confusion. Card often manifests as a closed heart. Barrier between two partners. sometimes only one person is responsible, but the two of swords suggests that both partners are at fault. often represents situations where and answer could be found and truth could be seen, but the person/s involved refuse/choose to see it. Diliberatly avoid seeing the truth.Even the softest light will blind those who have lived in darkness. But being blinded by the light is far preferable to being blinded by darkness.
My Issue - Seven of Coins.
Choice between keeping what you have and trying to get more. both situation seem appealing at different times, and in different situations. Re-evaluating your plans and trying something new. Feelings of emptiness inside you. Change is necessary. Coins though, tell you that change comes with risk. So when this card appears, take it as a sign to rest for a while, look back on all you've accomplished, and then decide whether you're going to leave or stay. take a few moments to look back and reflect. There is no dishonor in keeping what you have; if you wish you can always change your mind later.
His Issue - Queen of Cups
No intuition is more powerful than that of the Queen of cups. Possesses extraordinary insight into the behavior and motivations of others. Vivid imagination. Loses thereself in fantasies and daydreams. Think carefully about how you use tha vast stores of wisdom you ave access to at all times. Use you intuition to guide you. Can warn that you are thinking too much with your heart and not with your head. The heart may see farther, but sometimes you will have to look at things with your eyes.
Challenges and Opportunities. - The Hermit.
Questions about the nature of existence and purpose of life. Answers can only be found inside you. Seeks answers alone. No Distractions. The lessons of life cannot be rushed, or forced, or made to happen before it is time for them to happen. Take this as a sign that your worldly problems and affairs can safely be put on hold; there is greater, inner work to be done now. problem you must solve or a part of your nature you must deal with before a situation can progress. A more long-term withdrawal may be needed. The Hermit can also show you that a mentor is entering your life. This is a person who will not teach you overtly, but who will show you how to find the answers you are seeking within yourself. you will see that you had the answers all along.
His Advice - Six of Swords
Sometimes the only way to solve life's problems is to leave them, go someplace new and start over. After times of dreadful confusion and strife, the Six of Swords shows you that the only way to escape the turbulent waters of our emotions may be to leave them behind. t is only when you cling to the past that the necessity of moving on into the future will cause pain. Six of Swords relates to Mental clarity. When a balance between head and heart is achieved, truly great things can be accomplished.
My Advice- The Sun
It brings light and clarity after a period of darkness and confusion. Symbol of Steadfastness and reliability. The SUn will rise in the morning. YOu will emerge into the light stronger and wiser. When the Sun appears, let its power amaze and overwhelm you. But do not simply watch - reach up to grasp it, draw its power into yourself. The power of the Sun is true power indeed.
Possible Outcome.- Page of Wands
Passion for Life. Free spirit. Usually symbolizes some sort of conception, usually that of an idea. Can appear in your life as someone with a vivid and childlike imagination. A Faithful lover with almost unlimited passion and enthusiasm. Leave your fear behind and you'll be surprised how much freedom you'll win.

Is this right?
01

Love Situation-Six of Cups
A very positive card that looks reflects on the past and the good times that were abundant. It symbolizes time needed to heal. Also realize that looking back may help you look forward with renewed clarity. The six or cups has ties to all kinds of pleasure. The six of cups also has ties to Sex, Associated with fertility childbirth and childhood. Like a child seeing the world with an open heart. It tells you to open your heart to all the possibilities of life. Live in the moment, Remember the past and dream for the future.
Only card that refers explicitly to the past, and of memories and good times experienced there
Challenges and Opportunities.- The Devil
Accept the shadows so you can look to the light. Only you can hold you back. The devil is a negative energy that comes from within you not from some outside source. Can show that you are not completely in control of your life. Loss of control leading to loss of hope. Impaired Creativity. There is no devil except the one that you create.
My Issues - Two of Cups
Almost always suggests a relationship between two people. Seen as the card of the soul mate. My issue is that i have someone with whom i share a special connection that i can love unconditionally. Slightly more diluted energy than the Lovers card. Though the Two of Cups seems stable, it has the potential to fall apart. Only the two people involved can decide if the relationship can stand the test of time. When you stop telling yourself what you could be, you can start enjoying what you already are. and you can let others enjoy that too.
His Issues. - King of Swords.
The King of swords is the best judge of them all. He can take a situation and look at it with total impartiality, and then render a decision that is both fair and insightful. Powerful emotions, but he can keep them under control if the need be. High ethical standards. Pillar of Strength who gives sound advice to everyone. He is a leader. He sees the big picture and never lets his hearth sway his judgement. Commands attention. Your head is clear when the king of swords arrives and you can see things in a different light.
My Advice- Five of Wands
Shows both outer and inner conflict. When the head fights the heart. Set your priorities calmly and without vacillation. Warns against rashness and loss of control. Strategy is Key. Natural wild and untamed engery. A Clear head will prevail. As long as there is guilt, there can be no peace. The best offense is a good defense. Compromise if you must.
His Advice - Six of Wands
Six is the number of balance. Shows strife and competition of the past being overcome and how you can now enjoy the spoils of victory. Very one sided meaning but is still extremely full of depth. Purely physical victory that has been gained, not a spiritual one as with the Sun. Goals are about to be reached.Warns that victory often comes with pride and arrogance, and the notion that you are the best. The six of wands sometimes indicates the successful formation of a friendship or a romantic relationship. Focuses more on Morality than emotion. It is a sign to relax and enjoy the fruits of ones labors.
Possible outcome- The Sun
Light and clarity after a period of darkness and confusion. Bringer of peace and good times after oredeals. Symbol of steadfastness and reliability. Most prominent meaning is that of Success and Completion.

June 8th 2008 horoscope!
01
"Even an insignificant move on your part could take on major importance to someone else. Maybe others misinterpret your actions because of their expectations. Or perhaps your behavior is misleading because you don't want anyone to know what you're actually thinking. Be clear about your boundaries today so you don't unintentionally deceive your supporters.
The heartfelt Leo Moon brings our emotions into awareness, especially if a relationship isn't living up to expectations. The Moon's tense opposition to the karmic North Node, wounded Chiron and elusive Neptune highlights the contrast between our individual needs and those of others. Mental Mercury sextiles physical Mars, prompting decisive action and with the Moon entering analytical Virgo at 10:02 pm EDT, we can rationalize whatever we choose to do.
There's a romantic mood in the air since Tuesday's New Moon in Gemini is joined by loving Venus. This sets up an ideal week for flirtation and a playful attitude in relationships. This isn't a time to look for a lasting commitment, but one when a more flexible approach opens minds and hearts to the joys of shared thoughts and feelings.
Your charm is turned on full force this weekend, making it easy for you to get another's attention. The challenge is that you might be so taken by the sound of your own voice that you become careless about what you say. This could be awkward if you appear to make a promise you won't be able to keep.
Judgment: May you receive what you had lost.
Maintain flexibility today, because your plans may change more than once. Your intuition can't be beat, so don't be afraid to rely on it and to be decisive. It's a wonderful day for social interaction.

Purchase and Refund

So... I finally purchased the fisheye lens (Nikon 10.5mm f2.8) that I had been looking at. It should be here within the next week. I also bought a Flash (Nikon SB-600) which should arrive around the same time. I am really excited to get them. Today, I received my refund for the Canon Rebel XTI. Yay full refund.
