01 Hannah's house was lots of fun yesterday... here are the pictures that were taken on my D200, by either Tyler or myself.... Enjoy.

01 It is always interesting when you know that you would have ended up on one path, except that you are on another path because life gave you something completly unexpected...

My Yard... and My Camera.

01 I spent some time in my back yard playing with my D200 and my new sigma 28-90mm lens... and an orange filter... I ran Auto Levels on a bunch of the images, and it brought out some really unique colors...I like them a lot. Something a little different for me.

Always Waiting...

01 So I am working a 9 to 5 shift at burnsville today, and my bus got me to the mall buy8:40... which is much earlier than nessicary. So I took my time getting to the store from the bus stop and I still got up here 5 minutes early. It is 9 now, and Kurt, the guy who I am supposed to be opening with, isnl't here yet so I am sitting on the floor outside the store.... I think I see him coming now...

Saturday was really nice...well, so was Friday. Especially Saturday though because I had the entire day off, and spent all of it with Tyler. We were going to go see a movie, but with the timing for busing, I decided i really didn't feel like going and spending an hour before the movie at the mall, or in that area. We spent some time out in the back yard at my house, enjoying the lilacs, laying in the grass under my tree, and kicking a ball around. It was fun. Here are some pictures.

Lens is all better now...

01 So the other day, I started to realize that my 18-200mm lens for my camera wasn't focusing properly when it was fully extended... really confused me and I worried a little about it, but then I forgot to look into it more. So today, Anna and I were watching the camels while we were at the zoo, and the little one was so cute I decided to try and get a good picture of it, and my lens would not focus. so I decide to take the filter off the front of my camera and see if that fixes the problem... the front element falls off of my lens... BAD BAD BAD, luckily it hits the dirt, and not the concrete, though it was only inches from smashing on the concrete... It is better now, though i still need to take it out again and make sure there is no dirt left in there, i need a blower for that though. Good news, it is focusing again. freaked me out though to have that happen... almost an 800 dollar lens that wouldn't be easy to replace... at least it is ok.

Leave one light on...

01 I slept in until 11:30 today, it was fantastic! And then I got up and bummed around on the internet for a half hour until I remembered that I was hungry... so I went upstairs and asked my mom to make breakfast for me. She made english muffins, with vegetarian sausage, eggs and cheese on them, they were amazing as always. Then come 12:30 I got on the bus to meet Anna at the MOA so we could go to the zoo. The bus ride went really fast which was suprising. We got to the zoo at about 2 and went and got food right away after we looked at the cute stuffed animals at the gift shop... the bunny was named gretel... odd name for a rabbit. I got a caramel apple to eat, it was really good, even though the apple was a bit sour for my taste. After eating we spent our entire time there wandering the outdoor path, I felt a little bad on our way out because I had to rush Anna so we wouldn't miss our bus, but I am bringing her to the zoo again in 2 weeks, so it is ok. I will be adding pictures as soon as I get home and can use my computer,,, oh yah, by the way I am on the bus going home from Tyler's house right now... should be home soon. Ok that is enough typing on my phone. More later...

Goodmorning Sunshine

01 I forgot how much I love the morning sunshine in this room... so warm and happy... makes me miss being here...

18 and counting...

So Tyler turned 18 today, so as i was reminding him all day he is an adult now... though in no way does that entail him becoming more mature :P
We had a really fun day. His dad excused him from school at 10 this morning so I met him there... well actually he met me on the bus I was on, but really it is the same thing. So first we bussed to his house to drop off the fudge that Kelsey had made for him... It is peanut butter fudge, so very very good... I may have to ask her for the recipe... So we ended up at his house for about an hour, cuddling and eating fudge until we had to leave to catch another bus to head out for lunch and bowling. We had chinese food for lunch and then went to the Burnsville bowl, though they had a school event going on until 1:30 so we went and sat out on some grass for a half hour while we waited for the small children to clear out :P We decided to take pictures while we were out there... we are dorks and we had lots of fun :D





Bowling was a lot of fun... even though I didn't bowl very well... at least not the second or third games :P I also forgot to use my coupon, so we are going to go bowling again soon...

We Adopted Jake today, Jake is our new bowling ball :D We had lots of fun bowling with Jake, Though he likes to leave one pin standing, a nasty habit that we will have to break :P

After bowling we went back to his house and watched TV until it was time to go to Applebees with his family for dinner. Dinner was delicious and it was fun watching him blush a little as all of the staff sang to him :)

After dinner, his sister Alyssa drove us back to my house where we spent the rest of the evening cuddling, watching a movie and looking at pictures :)
