I have loved and lost more times than I care to think about
I have written more letters and left them unsent
than the ones I have had the heart to share.
I am so fearful of rejection.
of what the mind on the other end may think
no regrets on things shared
just wishing they weren't so one sided.
Better to have sent once, than to never have sent at all.
